Who was first on the Venus? Who comes from here? Plus Rainbow baptism...

Image
Probably, you know the book  Men Are from Mars, Women Are from Venus by John Gray . I read it in 2008.  I bought it in Auckland, New Zealand, at the airport shop. I had to wait several hours, and I wanted to read something else than the  Oxford English Dictionary . This was also the time when I started Shodoku ! Source: https://www.saxo.com/ So we know from John Grey, that women are from Venus :) Venus or Aphrodite is also from Venus.  Did you know that Venus is also called  Esthajnalcsillag in Hungarian? This is the first star that appears on the sky, it is the shiniest, and it goes out last from the sky in the morning. This star has other names as well in Hungarian: "alkonycsillag, hajnalcsillag, a régieknél Hesperos, vagy Phósphoros és Lucifer." - source: https://www.arcanum.com/ Did you know that in the Hungarian fairy tales, the Taltos girl can go to Venus?  When? Is it easy to study Physics and Chemistry?

Image
For me, it was. But everything has a price... Why was it easy to study Physics? Do you know Professor Öveges, József? Source: https://hu.wikipedia.org/wiki/Öveges_József Sometimes, they still played on TV his shows about experiments to teach kids a lot of cool stuff... Of course, not everyone was watching him at my age. Why did I? As Professor Öveges, József's sister, was my grandmother's young age best friend... My grandmother loved her so much, and my grandmother told me to study a lot from him. So, no skipping the program on the TV. Why was it easy to study Chemistry? I told you several blogs ago that when I was 10 years old, I had a long operation to save my life. After the operation, I was allowed to choose one book from the hospital's gift store.  The book was about Maria Skłodowska-Curie . Source: https://www.levaapp.com/

Do you need perfect English to study from a Harvard Professor?

Image
First of all, you can take a lot of Harvard courses online, where they do not ask you to take a language exam. Of course, you can write your assignment in many ways, but the readers will see if it is a machine or an Eastern European, etc...  Why? Online Harvard classes are checked by the program director team plus the participants. The participants can give feedback about works that were done far long time ago as well. When did I meet first time a Harvard professor in person? It was 2010. How was it possible? In 2009 and the beginning of 2010, I was a tenant or lived together with the director of the Tokaj Gymnasium. She is a sweet and diligent woman. She has two kids, who are adults a long time ago. Her daughter at that time was an MA student in Debrecen, she studied International Economics and Business at the University of Debrecen, in the department that was over the old Army fields... That springtime, her daughter was involved in a big project to organize an event for a H...

Have you ever heard about the Sailor Moon anime? Source: https://www.timeout.com/ We grew up as kids on a lot of cartoons, one was Sailor Moon. I had a good friend who was a big fan of this series, and she drew all the time these girls with perfect technique. There was a point in primary school, when we were around 10-11 years old, that we could have extra activities at another primary school in the afternoon. We could learn some level about publishing in the old style. And we had to specialize in one technique. What was her specialization? Her specialization was  Linocut . She made one of the Sailor Moon characters as perfect as it is in the series. This is an illustration of the craft. Source: https://www.artfinder.com/ Did I try out Linocut? Yes What was my specialization? Bookmaking , I learned to work with paper, cartoon, leader, glue, needle, sewing paper together, gluing paper together, cutting paper, and preparing a full book from the basics. This is an...

Hungarian cards, childhood game

Image
Source: http://www.wekerlekos.hu/ Source: http://www.wekerlekos.hu/ Csapd le csacsi This game is one of the easiest games to play with the Hungarian cards (32 cards). Do not use Google Translate, as it would give you a different meaning than the purpose of the game name.  The name of the game refers to speed, to be sharp, sharper than others, be aware, and do not let others lead you as the donkey runs after the carrot. The aim is to be the smartest. Why is it recommended to play even for very young kids? You learn during the game that being fast can mean a lot of things. But if you are aggressive, like destroying the cards, then you are out! Nobody will invite you again to play.... This means you were the least smart...  Being smart, fast, and gentle... these are the skills you learn in this game. Plus observation of the other players' behaviour... Where is this type of card pack common?  Austria, Germany, German-speaking Switzerland, Liechtenstein, North...
